VERTEX Tenant Improvement completed a full-floor buildout at 1624 Market Street, a historic building that still shows signs of serving as a slaughterhouse in the 1800s. Since then it has been used for various purposes and is now a trendy mixed-use building. The architect chose to highlight the rustic wood beams as well as leaving the century-old brick exposed. Skylights and original exterior windows light up an open office space with perimeter huddle rooms and offices. VERTEX was able to salvage a large vat from the building’s past and repurpose it into an iconic and functional piece of the conference room. The end result was a unique office space featuring a stunning view of Denver’s Union Station complete with the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities.
