VERTEX was retained to perform an independent analysis of reported deficiencies at a condominium project in Las Vegas, Nevada. The condominium is a 48-story high rise consisting of approximately 600 residential suites and includes restaurants, a spa, and other ancillary support spaces. VERTEX performed observations and inspections of waterproofing, tile installation, exterior handrails, domestic water, fire sprinkler pipe/pumps, and chemical treatment systems installation prior to forming its opinion on the validity of alleged construction deficiencies. VERTEX’s wide variety of experts enabled the defense of five separate trades associated with this Project. VERTEX provided opinions related to architectural, structural, and MEP systems, as well as opinions related to cost estimation. VERTEX’s experience with providing expert testimony proved beneficial as complex issues were described in clear and concise ways during deposition.
